The Chang School Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety

The thing that I love
about teaching the OHS certificate program
is that the students are driven. There's lots to learn from,
from my experiences and the others'. >>The students want
to be there. That's what I enjoy most
about continuing education.

People are there,
they're trying to improve themselves and they've
made a long-term commitment. It's just a fun field to work in. I have no shortage of
stories and examples and whatnot to tell
the students and I think they truly
appreciate that. >>The continuing education
program allowed me to take both my graduate
courses as well as taking continuing education
courses in something completely unrelated.

I found both to be
very engaging, both suited my workplace
as well as my lifestyle. The process was
extremely easy. I found the people at

Downtown Toronto is great. Taking the classes online
or in class was good as well because it provides you
flexibility with work and school and family. I made a commitment
to myself and to my employer to enrol in the Occupational
Health and Safety certificate program.
The skills and the knowledge that I received
from that certificate program have helped me perform
better in my my job today.
