Advisors at SNHU. Today I am going to walk you through how to check your class schedule.
Some information about textbooks as well as the different terms that you could potentially
be in as a first year student. First thing you want
to do is log in to mySNHU. I am just going to share my screen here.
As you see, we are
on the students tab using a training ID. First thing you are going to do here is click my
class schedule on the left hand side. From there you have this drop down menu that has
all the terms. Most of your classes are going to be in the 16 Fall Day term.
Let me zoom
in here so you can see. Most of your classes as I said are going to be in the 16 Fall Day.
That is a term that runs the entire semester. There is also two other terms that School
of Business students could potentially be in. These are our 16DY01 and 16DY02 terms.
Those are eight week courses that School of Business students do take.
So if you are a
School of Business student be sure to check these terms as well as the 16 Fall Day to
see your entire schedule. So let's start with the 16 Fall Day. Find 16 Fall Day in the drop
down menu and hit submit. That is going to show the class schedule.
So we have registered
this train ID for two different courses. It shows you the meeting times, how many credits,
and the start date. If you click this blue link you can a lot more information as a new
tab opens up. Such as the course description, start date, end date, where it is meeting,
and the professor information as well as the textbook information.
If you click this right
now an error will occur. That is because textbooks have not been fully finalized yet. We will
post a second video in a couple of weeks when textbooks are available showing you how to
do that. So let's go back here.
Now you have the course description. To get back to my
class schedule simply "x" out just like Internet tabs. Let's go back and I will show you how
to the 16DY01 and 16DY02 term. As a School of Business student you could be in either
one or both.
So to see these courses you simply have to go back and select 16DY01 and then
hit submit. Then you go through the same process. We have registered this train ID for Accounting.
Again, you can get the full course description through here. You find prerequisites that
we will talk about later and how many credits the class is. Then again if you are in a DY02
as well you just simply go back select DY02 and hit submit.
And this student is going
to be in a Business Law class. One point is this example is not a full freshmen schedule.
This may not represent what your schedule will look like I am just simply showing you
how to check you schedule. We will stop screen sharing. Feel free to reach out to us if you
have any questions.
You will be receiving an email from your Academic Advisor in a couple
of weeks and then in the meantime feel free to email us at academicadvising@snhu.Edu.
Have a great rest of your summer! Year student..
